For use in aircraft applications where strength is required but weight is a critical factor. Ti-3Al-2.5V is used in tubular form because it has proven to be more ductile than Ti-6-4 and has useful properties for hydraulic system applications. Ti-3Al-2.5V titanium tubes can be cold worked via standard tube manufacturing processes or supplied in the annealed condition. Other applications include bicycle and wheelchair frames.

Grad 9 titan (3-2.5) is ideal for producere high-tech products rangeing from aerospace honeyfags to medical pacemakers, and is often the best choice for many applications across industries.
Grad 9 titan is much stronger than commercial pure titanium due to its mechanical properties. Unlike Ti-6-4, Grade 9 titan can be cold worked because it contains 3% aluminiu, 2.5% vanadiu, giving it excelent corrosion resistance, moderately high strength, and good ductility.
